It is not a bad album. The press reviews have been complimentary but it has been criticised by a few Numan fans. It is an album that requires multiple listens - it is a "grower".
The best songs for me are "The Calling" and "Splinter".

It's been getting loads of good reviews but you will always get some fans who are never happy what he does they just want pleasure principle mark 1 2 3 4 etc

Well I have to say it not fussed at all at this point played it 2/3 times and stopped playing it due to lack of interest. I do love GN newer work but this is the first time not enjoyed new material at all. The only tracks i sort of liked is Splinter and The Calling but the rest of it is drivell at the moment. I am looking forward to Bristol and Oxford shows on th forthcomming Splinter tour though.

Congratulations to Gary first top 20 album since 1983. To thnk I wasnt fussed when it was first released it is a "grower" indeed,
