Anyone have any details as to which electric piano was used on the Tubeway Army album (like the intro to The Dream Police).
And which electric piano was used on on Replicas (eg in DITP)?

There are quite a few variations though, Mk1 (1971-74), Mk1 Stage 73 (1975), Stage 88, Suitcase 88 etc. I'm guessing the Mk2 was too late in 1979 for it to have been used.
Anyone have anything more definitive?
Are there any pictures of the Replicas sessions? There's a shot of the Peel Sessions with an electric piano but that was probably already at the BBC studios (maybe).

I love The Dream Police. I always wondered what made the intro sound. Now i know. Merci beaucoup.

An early fender stage piano sound wise is a stage piano period pretty much but if it matters it was a Mk1 Gary used.
73, 88, 54 etc is just the number of keys and the Mk2/3 was just an external case revamp and a few technical differences (plastic keys etc).
Same sound
The change from Fender Rhodes piano to fender stage piano was because of ownership changes, much like moog, moog music, Norlin etc were all really just Moog in different incarnations.
