Apologies for possibly being naive and a bit slow with this, but I've been a Numan fan since 79, and must have bought most of his catalogue four times over in various formats since then - as I'm sure many here have also done. Which surely makes us more-or-less morally entitled to the occasional unofficial bonus. . . which this section of the website seems to offer - my question is this - is the "vining" process really as random and laborious as it seems? How do the further two copies of each CD then get passed on? What is available for those who arrive too late for the first two copies? I'm no bootlegging, file sharing herbert, but is there an alternative? I told you I was naive and slow. . . .

Hey Butterfly. To request a vine, even when you're late to it, you simply request a copy off the last person to offer up two. If it's been a while (like this one) then I suggest pming the last person and hopefully they'll read it and send you a copy. Failing that, you can put a request into the "Request a Vine" thread and hope that some kind soul makes you an offer. As regards other formats, we like to keep live bootlegs lossless so are more in favour of .wav than mp3. But that's a personal preference for some of us. If you try this link: Numan Folder, you'll find a host of shows (and other things) in mp3 format which have been uploaded by Steelmusic (a member here and on other forums). It's free to download from as far as I know. One simple rule of vining here though, before you start, is to have at least 20 forum posts to your name. Join in - we don't bite. I hope this helps.
