I am largely in the same boat as Steve.
I have no grudges but just don't enjoy what Numan does anymore. I went to Brighton, last tour with Dan but and it was ok but I can count the good songs on about 3 fingers.
I did get given a copy of Splinter but doesn't do anything for me. Can't even remember the last Numan album I purchased. In conclusion I loved and still love what he did but not what he does, and as he doesn't do what he did anymore there is nothing for me. If that makes sense.
Steve remains an OMO though and I will remind him of that at John Foxx (but after he buys me a beer)

I check in from time to time. Have the Vines stopped? I was hoping to hear the unreleased Pleasure Principle recordings. Would love to get my hands on the master tapes to hear Conversation & Cars in their entirety; those outros fade too early for me.

I can't believe he moved away from me in Sussex, was it something I said to him? Gary Numan's market is Stateside, he will make his money then return to the UK then retire. That's my prediction anyway.
