I'm wondering why Telekon doesn't have a reduxe edition? Is their any demos alternative versions or sessions from Telekon age?
We have only that bonus traks from remaster edition, but nothing more.
What about I Die You Die. In the CD is the I Die: You Die (Alternate Version), but what is the original version?
Someone could share (in 320kbps) the song "Remember I Was Vapour" but only the version from the vinyl. That one original version that contains an additional synth melody, because the cd version is a bit different.
troy gymnopeides except the one that appears on Teleon album and The Pleasure Principle sessions is their any other versions ? Is interesting that this song was palyed exacly in the same period that John Foxx recorded. Is their any history behind it?

Hi Glam, Theres some recent "Telekon Redux" posts in this thread - nuland79.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=3940&page=1As for 'I Die, You Die' (alternate version), that is the US mix of the single. The original version being the UK single, not forgetting the video version too which was a different version also. There is a cd of the original 'Telekon' tracks such as 'Remember I Was Vapour' and 'The Joy Circuit' along with the UK version of 'I Die, You Die', on 4 cd set titled 'Asylum 2'. [Edit] These are the same versions that appeared on the vinyl in 1980, unlike the versions on the BB remastered cd.

There's also a different version of I'm An Agent called I'm A Driver, this was in a fan club letter I've got up in the loft somewhere.

Their really isn't anymore "Telekon" stuff out there, Beggars doesn't have anything !!! by the time Gary recorded "Telekon" he had stopped doing demos like what we've heard from the "Replicas / Pleasure Principle" If their is anything out there Gary would of had it , but as we all know Gary's wasn't that great at keeping things, the nearest I got to getting anything from that period was from Cedric ...but he broke the tape it was on and didn't think that I could fix it ( another one of them moments lol ) RRussell might have something but I don't think from "Telekon"

Yeah, im not sure where Glam got the redux missunderstanding from. I was was speaking only about original tracks, as in the standard ones already released. I wish i was not but there we go. My reply here - There is a cd of the original 'Telekon' tracks such as 'Remember I Was Vapour' and 'The Joy Circuit' along with the UK version of 'I Die, You Die', on 4 cd set titled 'Asylum 2'. [Edit] These are the same versions that appeared on the vinyl in 1980, unlike the versions on the BB remastered cd. was in reply to - Someone could share (in 320kbps) the song "Remember I Was Vapour" but only the version from the vinyl. That one original version that contains an additional synth melody, because the cd version is a bit different. No amount of wishful thinking will make a 'Telekon Redux' appear any sooner if at all lol. There's also a different version of I'm An Agent called I'm A Driver, this was in a fan club letter I've got up in the loft somewhere. You could be right Tony but it was so long ago i only remember 'Im A Driver' or 'Im The Driver' as being (said to be) used as the working title. So it may not be proof of a demos title only, as several tracks as we know started with working titles and were released as the standard versions after final production. .... There has been some rumours in recent months of extra 'Telekon' tracks including just weeks ago of a totally different and 'long lost' song. But its only been talked about by fans, theres been no back history to where this started. Never say never i suppose, but from what i can tell there are some extras around, but its nowhere near enough to justify a double disc set.

I didn't know there were diff versions on the Asylum sets? Not that i would know the difference. Are there any other tracks on the asylum sets that are different to BB reissues?

Are there any other tracks on the asylum sets that are different to BB reissues? From what i can tell, and going by memory, yes its just the 'Telekon' tracks 'Vapour', 'Joy Circuit', the UK 'I Die You Die', and possible 'Please Push No More'. .... Maybe im being a bit sad but if a telekon redux ever came out, the main thing i would say it needs is 'We Are Glass' moved into track 11 position. Its probably due to being so familiar with the vinyl tracklist and the fact that 'We Are Glass' used to end the shows, but it feels so odd being stuck there as track 6.

I found the Asylum 2 CD in MP3 and i could ear some diferences in some songs, but is more the mixing than the adding extra sounds like we could ear in 3:15, an ARP Odissey (But i'm sure is more a Minimoog sound that a ARP, because is too warm and a bit softly, the ARP is more agressive).
The ASylum 2 (the vinyl) is less loud that the remaster BB edition. We could ear more clear each sounds in vinyl edition.
A Redux would be great with adding a special edition cd with the vinyl version.
